The everyday work: a statement for an agency, a certified copy, a form that requires an oath.
An affidavit is a written statement you swear before me is true. It's used in immigration, school, insurance, probate and state agency filings.
I also perform attested photocopies where Florida law allows, signature witnessing, oaths and affirmations, and notarial certificates for forms that come with their own wording.
If the document requires you to declare under oath, you must be present and able to understand what you're signing. I can't notarize blank or incomplete documents.
How the process works

Bring the complete document
All blanks filled in, except the signature and the notarial section.

I verify your identity
With valid photo ID or a credible witness, as Florida law permits.

Oath administered
I ask you to swear or affirm the contents are true, and you sign in front of me.

Seal and record
I complete the notarial certificate, apply the seal and record the act.
Questions about this service
Can you certify a copy of my passport or birth certificate?
Florida law does not allow certifying copies of vital records such as birth or marriage certificates — those come from the issuing office. Other documents can be certified; I'll confirm when I review yours.
Can you help me write the affidavit?
No. Drafting the content would be legal advice, and I'm not an attorney. I can notarize a document you or your attorney prepare.
What if I don't have photo ID?
In some cases Florida law allows identification through a credible witness who does have ID. Ask me before the appointment.
